So far since school has started, almost all my weekends with exception of one have been used for studying. Is it my study method ineffective or is there really a lot of studying need to be done? NM2219 test coming up. Haven't finish studying last week's lecture also. Need to watch NM3201 webcast asap as well! Sigh. Another uneventful day, which is kinda good and bad. Good in the sense that nothing big is happening and bad that nothing has happened. The ironies of life.

Watched "The Family Man" yesterday, acted by Nicholas Cage, who is one of the Hollywood actors that I like, not idolize. It is probably a remake of "
A Christmas Carol". Cage acts as a successful lawyer who probably feels that he could conquer the world if he wanted to but you guessed it, he's lonely. GMNHNLH. (Got Money No Honey Nobody Loves Him) Through a twist of fate, he gets a 'glimpse' of an alternative live where he actually gets to live in it till he figures out what his life is missing. In his alternative life, he's a salesman, married with 2 kids, not rich but his life is fulfilling. As time passes, he realises that this is the kind of life he wanted but when he does so, its time for him to go back. When he does, he becomes extremely sorrow. But he goes on to search for his ex-girlfriend who is incidently his wife in the alternate life. He realizes that she is flying off to Paris and devastated. After a while, he decides to do all the best to make her stay and she does and the credits roll.

The story was kinda touching. Makes you wonder whether being rich but leading a lonely life is worth it after all. But hey, he gets the girl (I think) in the end as well. So much for having the best of both worlds. Thankfully I watched this show rather than 食字路口. Its not everyday that you'll catch me watching a heart-warming show as this!

Anyway I feel that something is bothering her but she doesn't want to say. I don't want to intrude into her life too much but since she says that there's nothing wrong, there's pretty much nothing I can say or do. =\
